Molly calling Garak “Uncle Garak” the first time, and Miles is more than slightly concerned and has a fit trying to figure out when she started thinking of him as that.

Keiko thinks its cute and tells Miles not to worry about it.

There’s a post with two gifs showing ASL signs for abortion going around, unfortunately while correct the second sign and information along with it was added by a terf.

So here’s the original video by glassmenagerie on TikTok where they explain the two signs for abortion, the issues with one, and go over the signs for immigration as well because there’s a similar right vs left wing sign difference.

some fandom needs to hear this. but i just cANt remember which one ……

Finally someone is saying it

Every fandom needs to hear this.

A pedestal is a tiny constrained place to stand in. Why would anyone want to be there?

Putting someone on a pedestal is just as dehumanizing as treating them like they’re beneath you. In both cases, you’re not seeing them as equals.

b0os asked:

hi! ♡ I know this is out of nowhere, would you reblog the pinned post for my aunt's charity on my blog? thank a lot!

this blog was created very recently and only reblogged 20 or so posts before making a donation post. these kinds of scams are getting smarter, with bios that mimic an actual tumbler user. their blog is just a bunch of posts straight from #horror and adjacent tags, they havent reblogged anything from anyone they follow (because they dont follow anyone, theyre a scam blog) they have dash-only mode turned on for their blog, because it prevents you from opening their archive and seeing they only started posting last week

if someone is asking you to reblog their donation post, pull up their archive. like this:

(paste their url here).tumblr.com/archive

with these donation scams, 9 times of 10 it’ll show they’ve only posted for a month, or it’ll be disabled by dash-only mode. please keep an eye out everyone. this is the 5th “reblog my donation post please!” ask ive gotten this month.

This is an extremely helpful and concise guide to vetting scam posts asking for donation aid, which are becoming increasingly common.

Because of the work I do with Radio Free Monday I tend to give strong benefit of the doubt to fundraisers, especially since scammers won’t often bother to fill out the form so usually the bulk of entries are genuine. But even so I have noticed a jump in scam posts I’ve had to filter out and also scam asks I’ve had to ignore.

If you’re on the fence about whether to reblog something, this is a good evaluation method for whether the poster is likely “real”. (Also if you guys could do a check like this before sending strangers to the Radio Free Monday form I’d appreciate it, but that’s a secondary concern.)
