ALAN TURING 1912–1954
Mathematician and logician, considered the father of computer science. During WWII, he played a large part in Allied success by developing a machine to solve the Enigma code, a system of encryption being used by the Germans. He was arrested for gross indecency in 1952, when he reported a burglary to the police, then casually admitted to being in a homosexual relationship. His sentence was chemical castration, and his death two years later is believed to be suicide. He was granted a rare royal pardon for his conviction just last month.

First colour palette sketch, probably about half an hour. I had ten requests for Remus, Sirius or a combination of the two. Palette 15 was requested twice, so here we are. :)

“Comfortably Old”
I kind of hate drawing them old; it breaks my heart, to think of their time together drawing to a close. Also, it makes me feel lazy for not using reference.
I didn’t really mean to turn this drawing into a full blown illustration, it was just a really rough sketch in my sketchbook that I decided to clean up in photoshop, and then suddenly it was like two days later and I had this.

Don’t care if he’s guilty, don’t care if he’s not
He’s good and he’s bad and he’s all that I’ve got
I got carried away. Lost plan. got a new plan. Over all, it’s post Azkaban Sirius-on-the-run inspired, and I suppose the idea would be Sirius having to leave again after being reunited with Remus (and gotten some, uhm. Less suspicious clothes. And a bath. Food.Sex.)
now coloured
