Why is there no First World War AU of the UNIT era? It would work so well. The Brig, Yates and Benton are basically already Great War archetypes, and the Third Doctor could be… well, their eccentric scientist. And Jo’s his assistant. Or you could have secret-suffragist Liz. Or journalist Sarah Jane. Or all three! It would be really cool and interesting, and probably heart-breaking.
