Finally finished writing one of the Eight/Fitz fics I’ve been working on since the autumn. Now I just need to edit it and then off it goes.

As much as I say Two is my favourite Doctor, I always think Eight was ‘my’ Doctor. I got into the show in the early part of the wilderness years, and remember the real excitement when the movie was announced. Sure, it may not have spawned a series as I was hoping at the time, but what we did get in the next few years was some of the most innovative ‘Who ever. I still think of the EDAs as being my era, and looking at this picture reminds me of how good we actually had things back then (even if we didn’t think so at the time).
Don’t get me wrong, I love the new series, but I still miss book / comic Eight something rotten.
