Absolutely.
(I also think that Tain dyes his hair so people can’t quite tell how old he is, as a way of throwing them off. He goes from having black hair in s3 to being entirely grey-haired in s5.)
“Rivals” (S02E11, Stardate UNKNOWN) is a lot of fun. We get a Quark story where he is frustrated throughout the runtime and has to be creative, and we get the O'Brien/Bashir clash. There are so many great character moments and a sci-fi concept in the background that I can overlook missteps.
