Real questions: Does ds9 have a dentist or does all that just fall on Julian?
Thinking more on it and based on everyone’s replies; I’m wondering if doctoring in Trek is closer to being a veterinarian. There’s still specialists out there for more obscure and harder to pinpoint problems but most doctors are all-in-one and are trained to handle a variety of species (though there’s prob also specialists for that too like how there’s exotics and large mammal vets) and are largely aided by their tech .

I think we need to assume that there’s at least two other doctors minimum on ds9 at all times (if not many more when the war is full swing and the population is up). If not, Julian would never be allowed to leave the station since he’d be on call 24/7, and all an enemy would need to do is take him out and they’d be screwed. Not to mention that the work of a CMO is actually more to do with administrative work and taking care of a population as a whole than focusing on individual care.
There is a mention of a Bajoran doctor, Doctor Girani. There might well be other Starfleet doctors too, of course. I enjoy imagining some old-timer who’s like ‘wow this kid has a lot of energy. Wait until he finds out about all the paperwork.’
Cecil. She/her. During the day I sit in libraries staring at books. During the night I write queer fanfiction with a historical slant.
Some not-so-random facts: Gay space lizards are the best lizards. Star Trek is my life. I have too many DS9 ships. Classic Who and the Eighth Doctor Adventures make me grin stupidly. Kelas Parmak is the best. I will defend historically accurate portrayals of Alan Turing to the last drop of blood.
