what if bashir was apprehended by changelings and they were like “MOVE IT SOLID” and he was like “actually did you know humans are 75% water” and then they punched him
this is honestly 100% in character and it is a shame we never saw it on screen
It’s finally finished! This is my X-pattern bingo for the @star-trek-bingo 2020- I’ve been working on it since mid-June and I’m proud of how eveything turned out! My favorite illustrations either have to be the Garashir piece or the Human! Au, although Undercover Mission was the most fun to do.
On a standard shuttle trip out of Earth’s orbit, Julian and the O’Briens’ shuttle suddenly starts to travel backward in time to when dinosaurs walked the Earth. Luckily for them, Julian has seen Jurassic Park. Unluckily for them, however, that series apparently got a lot wrong.
Weyoun sings a traditional Vorta song to entertain the bridge crew in Julian’s absence. It is six hours long.
I’m not really sure what the backstory for this is since these two never actually meet in canon, so… I’m just going to say it’s weyoun 6, (who is perfectly alive and well thank you very much.) getting fitted for some new threads. Probably because odo vaguely implied something about maybe possibly wearing something besides the carpet suit and before he could clarify weyoun had apologized 20 times and was halfway to garak’s.
More importantly though, am I to believe Garak went the entire dominion war without sassing a single vorta about their fashion sense??? who writes this show. where’s my garak fashion police spinoff.
- Piggy the Targ - Lupi the Bajoran doll - A big multi-coloured creature - A frog hand-puppet
The frog is the hardest to get a look at, but Molly has it on her hand in the first picture (more obvious in the actual clip than in the screencap) and it is flat when Keiko holds it in the third.
I can’t for the life of me figure out what the multi-coloured cuddly toy is (other than very cute). It seems to have three horns or ears, front-legs with pink paws and striped back-legs (seen in the third picture) and three-toed feet.
Screencaps from Trekcore.
I missed one! We spot this fellow, a purple triangle with a moustache and arms and legs, in Time’s Orphan:
So I saw Trekcore tweet about Molly’s toys today and found this post through Google. I’ve identified the multi-colored creature!
It’s a stuffed toy toucan made by Commonwealth Toys in 1991. There was a trend of these soft stuffed animals made with “parachute nylon” back then, most notably Fisher Price’s Puffalumps, because it was thought they were good first toys for babies and toddlers. (I have a Puffalump bear that I was given as a baby in 1991.)
It’s hilarious how alien it looks on the show, but it’s not like the toy looks much like a real toucan…
Cecil. She/her. During the day I sit in libraries staring at books. During the night I write queer fanfiction with a historical slant.
Some not-so-random facts: Gay space lizards are the best lizards. Star Trek is my life. I have too many DS9 ships. Classic Who and the Eighth Doctor Adventures make me grin stupidly. Kelas Parmak is the best. I will defend historically accurate portrayals of Alan Turing to the last drop of blood. Likes and asks end up in the name of @apolesens-otheraccount, because Tumblr doesn't have a way of changing which blog is your primary one. Nothing happens over there - this is the one to follow.
