Eight & Karl Sadeghi (from The Year Of Intelligent Tigers), for ourfinaldecember
Wait, why haven’t I reblogged this yet? This is gorgeous, darling! The picnic basket and the chocolate martinis and everything. I particularly like Eight’s coat, with the yellow piping.

dalek-parties-are-always-rubbish:
Fitz lying on the floor of the TARDIS library reading a cheesy spy novel, and the Doctor coming up and sitting next to his head and reading over his shoulder and nagging at him to turn the page already and spoiling all the major plot points by predicting them exactly because it’s a pretty…

Pairing Eighth Doctor/Scarlette
Rating/warnings R. Sexual themes
Spoilers Set during Adventuress of Henrietta Street
Word-count 3408
Disclaimer I don’t own anything.
Summary The Doctor introduces Scarlette to the dances of the future. Things of the present come to the surface.
‘Is this the Fitz you lost earlier?’ ‘I wouldn’t say lost - more mislaid.’ And with that, the Doctor bounded over and gave Fitz a huge, rib-cracking hug, lifting him clear off the ground. For a moment, Fitz wondered if the Doctor was going to kiss him.
Wheeee there are graphics!

I love this bit for several reasons. One - this constant reminder of how good-looking Eight is. Guess what, he’s still gorgeous, dear reader! In case it slipped your mind. Two - Fitz’s anachronistic clothes. If one didn’t sit down to think about it, I think you wouldn’t necessarily think that someone dressing like in the 1960s would look out of place in the 190s (because there are worse things - like dressing like Oscar Wilde in, well, any time at all, including the 1880s/90s), but I think it would be noticed. Three - Uppsala. Being Swedish originally, I think it’s hilarious with an EDA set in Sweden, and the way Uppsala is constantly dropped in as if it’s the only university in this part of Sweden. It’s the big, old one, but, well, not the only one.
I just finished reading Revolution Man, which I really enjoyed (in the way you enjoy things where all your favourite characters are made to do horrible things), but now I need fic. Specifically, reconciliation fic. Any recs?
