I love how they littlerly never put makeup on Garak’s hands, like was the budget so low they couldn’t paint them gray or anything because it makes serious scenes so funny when you see this gay lizard man talking about murder with just whole ass human hands
He does actually have grey makeup on his hands most of the time, including the early episodes.
Bruh, in both Improbable cause and The Die is Cast he has no makeup, ill go back and look when i have time but he talks with his hands and its funny when he’s doing a rant and does jazz hands and you see there is no makeup. Im braindead and can’t remember the others that well but i know i remember seeing him without makeup multiple times
I actually think he does have makeup on them in Improbable Cause—that doesn’t look like human skin tone next to Julian’s hand. It also looks like he’s wearing it in most of The Die is Cast, although I am noticing that he’s a different shade of grey overall than he is in other episodes.
I think it’s missing in this scene from Our Man Bashir, but it’s hard to tell because the lighting/color/quality of DS9 is so iffy
It’s definitely missing in Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges:
I expect it is harder to put makeup on your palm, hence the last picture.
I also want to offer this picture (which is adorable, by the way, and sort of weird too) as proof that he indeed is wearing makeup on his hands:
Cecil. She/her. During the day I sit in libraries staring at books. During the night I write queer fanfiction with a historical slant.
Some not-so-random facts: Gay space lizards are the best lizards. Star Trek is my life. I have too many DS9 ships. Classic Who and the Eighth Doctor Adventures make me grin stupidly. Kelas Parmak is the best. I will defend historically accurate portrayals of Alan Turing to the last drop of blood.
