Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Hogsmeade Concept Art
Ohmygosh this concept art is stunning. It makes me wish HP was a picture book. One really, really long picture book.

I realize I’m like 14 years late on this but… How does Lupin handle sickles?
I’ve never thought of sickles being a problem before. I’ve considered the problems he must have had in potions, as the knives are silver. I suppose he had another knife, but the silver might have magical properties (especially considering that it wouldn’t make a very sharp knife, as it’s quite soft)… which would actually explain why he’s not very good at potions.
I’ve always imagined Lupin wearing gloves (albeit fingerless), so perhaps he can avoid touching silver that way? Or he tries to get knuts as soon as possible (although asking for them instead of sickles would be a bit of a give-away). The nasty answer would be, ‘how often does he even have sickles?'
Considering how much stuff in the wizarding world, from coins to goblets, is silver, he must have real trouble hiding his lycanthropy even from random strangers.
(Admittedly, it’s never stated (to my knowledge) that werewolves in this 'verse have trouble with silver, but I like it, so I’m just going to stick with it. This is a fascinating thing to think about.)
Warner Bros. announced on 12th September 2013 that J.K. Rowling would be making her screenwriting debut with ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, the first in a new film series which is part of their expanded creative partnership with J.K. Rowling. The films will be inspired by Harry Potter’s Hogwarts textbook of the same name, and will feature the book’s fictitious author, Newt Scamander.

I heard it’ll be the 1920s and Wizarding New York, which makes it sound even better.
