Vulcan Marriage = T'hy'la?
So this comic (Star Trek 2 - 10 The Trial of James T. Kirk Part 1) deals with Jim’s trial in Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country and I thought it was pretty cute that Sarek comes to the rescue, to defend his son’s bff in front of the court.
At first I was really giddy, because WOW! You go Sarek! That’s a really beautiful character development here! Also the hint at Jimmy Jim being a bad influence is pretty hilarious and…it seems somewhat intimate how Sarek frames it. Because “Emotional Ties” *awwwww*.
But then I read the scene again and…
…what is this?
*inhuman screeching*
Ok…so apparently Spock considers himself and Jim being in a similar relationship as Sarek with Amanda…I know, I know Sarek said it’s something different, but Spock obviously doesn’t think so…
*heavy breathing*
